Submit hair sample — Customer sends a clean, dry hair sample following Silmaril's preparation instructions (~10g for human hair; ~20g for pet fur).
Life-ID assignment — On receipt by Silmaril, the sample receives a unique biological Life-ID. Full traceability is maintained from this point.
Carbon extraction & purification — Carbon is extracted from hair keratin and purified to at least 99.95%.
Graphitization — Purified amorphous carbon is converted into crystalline graphite.
